by Rosemarie Perla

He has studied Tibetan monks by using EEG’s to watch their brains during meditation. He was invited to study the monks by the Dalai Lama – a spiritual leader most interested in science.  Why meditation for those of us in Business?  We are learning through this research that mindfulness practices help leaders to calm, become better able to respond in stressful situations and, more focused in daily decision-making activities.  This article about mindfulness uses delightful examples from the Pixar movie INSIDE/OUT to describe research on emotions and the brain.

Leadership and Professional Executive Coaching
